When booking with BAREFOOT EXPLORERS you are agreeing to the below terms and conditions.

SAFETY & SUPERVISION

Please be advised all our sessions and events are parent-supervised sessions, and parents/carers are responsible for constant supervision, well being, and safety of their children. Children must not be left unattended, and carers are accountable for them and their actions at all times. All materials are intended for use under constant supervision, and we do not take duty of care for any attendees during our sessions.

By booking our session you acknowledge and agree to these terms and conditions, accepting responsibility for any injury or illness. Some activities may involve wet materials, causing slippery surfaces or tripping hazards, whilst other may include small/loose parts which may be considered a choking hazard. We advise that all attendees exercise caution around these areas and move safely between stations.

You acknowledge that Barefoot Explorers are not responsible for any injuries that may occur, and in the unlikely event that an injury does occur, you will be advised to address the issue through your own personal insurance. Session locations may vary, and the address will be provided upon booking.

We aim to secure semi-shaded locations but do not provide shade covers or any fixed structures. Parents are responsible for ensuring their children wear protective clothing, sunscreen, and hats for sun protection. Sun safety remains your responsibility as a parent/carer and is encouraged during all sessions.

SESSION COSTS

Our Sessions are designed for children aged 6 months - 5 years old, with a limited number of attendees to ensure for quality experiences. Please be mindful of others attendees.

Barefoot Explorers may increase session fees from time to time and this would be to reflect cost increases beyond our control, including but not limited to resources and materials, insurance premiums, additional running fee’s, as well as taxes and permits. All amounts referred to by Barefoot explorers are in Australian dollars.

Payment is required in full upon booking tickets to a Barefoot Explorers Play session or event, accepted through the third-party booking service (Acuity Scheduling). The booking price includes all fees and/or charges.

MATERIALS & RESOURCES

Throughout all our Sessions/Events we include a range of food and non-food-based sensory elements, as well as various materials, resources and props. These generally will incorporate loose parts, items of varying size, texture and weight, as well as a range of natural materials and objects. Parents are fully responsible for supervising their children while engaging with these items. Most products used are non-toxic or taste-safe, but they are not intended for consumption.

ALLERGY/ ANAPHYLAXIS

Barefoot Explorers cannot guarantee an allergy-free environment, as various food bases are used in our sensory experiences. We will do our best to avoid using products containing nuts, soy, dairy, or eggs, however some items may have allergy labels indicating potential traces of these allergens.

**Please inform us of any allergies or anaphylaxis concerns prior to your session, and we will do our best to accommodate them (note that this may not always be possible)

CANCELLATION POLICY

Due to the costs associated with running our sessions we are unable to offer refunds or credits. We understand that life happens and children fall unwell without warning, so Barefoot Explorers will be happy for you to transfer your ticket to a friend or alternatively you can contact us to see if there is anyone on our waitlist for that specific session.

Barefoot Explorers may cancel a session if there are fewer than 3 attendees or due to our own illness, injury, or unforeseen circumstances, and you will be notified promptly and offered appropriate options. We reserve the right to cancel any service without refund or compensation due to abnormal weather, road closures, emergencies, or other exceptional unforeseen circumstances.

Venue changes or cancellations will be announced on our social media platforms (Facebook and Instagram).

PHOTOGRAPHY/ SOCIAL MEDIA

With your consent, we may take photos, short videos, or conduct live media during our sessions for use on our website or social media accounts (Facebook & Instagram). If you prefer not to have your or your child's involved, please inform us when booking your ticket or in person.

Please respect the preferences of other parents/carers and only capture photographs and videos of your own child/children.

AGREEMENT

On booking your ticket, you are agreeing to all of the outlined Terms & Conditions made by Barefoot Explorers.

You agree not to cause damage, misuse, disruption, or inhibit the business, property, possessions, equipment, environment, or other attendees of Wonder Seekers Sensory Play

Barefoot Explorers reserves the right to review and amend this agreement as required and will publish any amended version on the website. We recommend you check our site regularly to ensure you are aware of our current Terms and Conditions.
